Acrivastine is used to treat allergic rhinitis, hay fever, urticaria, eczema, pruritus and more. Acrivastine has the effect of selectively blocking histamine H1 receptors without a pronounced anticholinergic effect. Acrivastine has low penetration into the central nervous system and may relieve the symptoms caused by it by completely or partially blocking histamine release.
