Budesonide is currently a commonly used drug for the treatment of bronchial asthma.
Budesonide mainly inhibits the production of active substances such as inflammatory sensitizing mediators and cytokines, contracts and dilates mucosal blood vessels, improves the sensitivity of bronchial smooth muscle and inflammatory cells to β2 agonists, etc., mainly in the airway and lung tissue, and can produce good therapeutic effects on exogenous and endogenous asthma. Budesonide can be used in non-hormone-dependent or hormone-dependent asthma and wheezing chronic bronchitis.
