Triclabendazole for sale is a benzimidazole anthelmintic. It eliminates both immature and adult flukes in a sheep model of F. hepatica infection when administered at a dose of 10 mg/kg. Triclabendazole also protects against glucose- or α-synuclein-induced apoptosis in S. cerevisiae via inhibition of adenylyl cyclase in the Ras-adenylyl cyclase-protein kinase A (PKA) nutrient sensing pathway.

Mechanism of action: TCBZ is metabolized in the host to its active sulphoxide (TCBZ-SO) and sulphone metabolites. These are absorbed through the fluke's tegument, bind to the colchicine site on β-tubulin, inhibit microtubule polymerization, block intracellular transport and protein/enzyme synthesis, disrupt the tegumental surface and reproductive cells (spermatogenesis, vitelline cells), and ultimately kill the parasite. Unlike most other benzimidazoles, its spectrum is strongly focused on trematodes (flukes) rather than nematodes.

1. Veterinary (largest market — ruminants)
Treatment and control of acute, sub-acute and chronic fascioliasis caused by Fasciola hepatica and Fasciola gigantica in cattle, sheep, goats, buffalo, deer and horses.
Unique value: effective against all stages — from 1-day-old early immature juveniles through to adults — which most competing flukicides cannot cover.
