Fluocinolone acetonide can constrict dermal capillaries, inhibit the proliferation or regeneration of epidermal cells, inhibit connective tissue proliferation, stabilize intracellular lysosomal membranes, reduce inflammatory exudation, and inhibit the formation and release of histamine and other inflammatory mediators, with anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effects.
Fluocinolone acetonide is used for skin diseases that are effective against glucocorticoids.
