Atosiban acetate is a competitive antagonist of oxytocin receptors in the womb and in the decidua and supraplasty of the circadian peptide.
Atosiban acetate, as a combination receptor antagonist of oxytocin and vasopressin V1A, has a similar chemical structure and high affinity with receptors, competitively binds oxytocin and vasopressin V1A receptors, thereby blocking the pathway of action of oxytocin and vasopressin and reducing uterine contractions.
